"Thank you so very much for your program! In the past 3 months, since starting, my life has changed.
I am completing work at work now - what a novel idea! My weekends are also more open for family time as well!
I also enjoy all of the guest coaches."
~ Dr. K. Rice, Charting Champion Member
Hi, I'm Dr. Sarah Smith,
Clinical Day Advisor, Rural Family Doctor
(+ER +Hospitalist), Charting Coach.
I discovered general life coaching while on a personal mission to figure out how to stop feeling trapped by the clinical day. 15 years of spending evenings and weekends finishing up the work of the clinical day was no longer sustainable.
As sole income earner for my family, the option to leave medicine was not practical. Leaving the office hours after the last patient increased the mom guilt. Spending weekends avoiding family activities to complete paperwork created frustration and contributed to burn-out.
What would you do with your time if, you could reclaim hundreds of hours each year when you are containing the work day to the work hours?
This is possible! We have a thriving community of more than 1500 Members and when we look at their results we see a significant decrease in the hours spent charting, the hours doing clinical work outside the clinical hours and no significant difference in the number of patients see in a full clinical day.
Our members report feeling more focused at work, feeling in control of their clinical day, and rating their mental energy at work as significantly higher.
In addition, our members report an improved quality of life, a decrease in work related dread, a decrease in feelings of burnout and a decrease in thoughts of quitting due to administrative burdens.
Now it's your turn! We would love to help you achieve this for yourself.
Will I ever figure this out? Is change really possible?
Dreading work and feeling overwhelmed with endless administrative tasks is not sustainable. Charting, administrative burden, workload, workflow, access issues and patient expectations are some of the major contributors to job dissatisfaction.
Additionally, you are probably not finding the time to do activities that help you rest and rejuvenate.
Think about it:
- How much sleep are you getting?
- How much exercise are you getting?
- When did you have a weekend free of incomplete tasks and charts?
There are unique stresses associated with managing patient consultations, in-baskets and documentation.
