Ep. 15 - What's an AI Scribe?!

In this week's episode,  I chat with Dr. Noah Crampton. Dr. Crampton shares all about the new technology that he has developed: an AI scribe! He shares with us how AI can help solve the administrative burden crisis in medicine. He also shares with us that the key to an AI scribe tool being successful is the flexibility and customizability the tool will offer for each doctor's specialty and writing style.

Meet Dr. Noah Crampton: 

Dr. Crampton is a family physician and digital health researcher at Toronto Western Family Health Team, based at University Health Network. Today he is working diligently to advance the field of automating physician and EMR workflow using AI. He is the co-founder and CEO of Mutuo Health Solutions, whose product AutoScribe uses a microphone and AI to listen to a doctor-patient encounter and in real-time automatically generates a medical note corresponding to that conversation.
